My photography is steeped in analogue black and white photography practice, but more recently I have been using digital photography as a medium.
Digital photography has led to a different set of criteria for taking photographs, mainly due to the use of colour, for which digital capture seems ideally suited. The subject matter I choose to photograph is common to both mediums and falls into a number of loose categories ; The blending of nature and man-made structures; abstract self portraits; the plethora of instructive signage in our environment and flat surface tonal observations.
