Born in '73, and lucky enough to witness the birth of a new art movement made by kids for kids, from the streets and for the streets, graffiti exploded in Nottingham during the mid to late 80's. It was love at first sight. We participated in an evolving and exciting art scene, one where we made the rules, and all stemming from a desire to write your name in the coolest way you could and on any surface that would be seen by the masses.

All the multi-coloured dreams created on walls and trains all stemmed from the tag: the artists nom-de-plume. And that's where my art has started again. Influenced by the whole history of graffiti from New York subway tagging, to Chaz Bojorquez and West Coast calligraphy. From Philly Wicked style to Brazilian Pixacao. All my art is still influenced by graffiti, the abstract edges of graffiti. The walls, the subways, and the layers. And all my pieces start with me writing my name.
